Annie received her diploma from high school from The Crefeld School located in Philadelphia. Annie Lederman, who graduated high school in 1997, aged 17, spent her next year volunteering. She began by training dolphins on the island of Hawaii as well as following that, she worked with an organization that is non-profit and aims to assist disadvantaged children in Central America.
