Brandi passante made an instant celebrity after her appearance on A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars. The show also was a part of Jarrod Schulz, who was Passante's partner of many years and now husband. On the show, the items stored in storage lockers where rent hasn't been paid in three months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod who run the "Now and Then" thrift shop in Orange, California participated in the auction in hopes to acquire storage units for a low price. Little did they know that the show was going to make reality stars out of the couple! They were very diplomatic when it came to their requests during the entire program and soon became one of the main stars. Their success on reality television helped the business of the couple which allowed them to grow. The spin-off Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was created following their appearance on Storage Wars.
